Chandika Kishor, works with Women Empowerment programs in Rural India. She shared our gallery’s vision and mission with these women in her recent visit to Dahivadi village in Maan District of Maharashtra, India. These rural women empowerment program face the biggest challenge of inspiring these illiterate women who are juggling family, financial and social stigma issues; which results in many good program not getting expected outcomes.
Chandika says ” When I shared your story of starting this gallery, as mumprenuer with these rural women , they got very inspired and felt that they can juggle life priorities and win too! This experience, made me realise that The Art and Craft Gallery’s Vision, Mission and journey should be spread to the regional areas, where it can inspire and show pathways to rural women and empower them in real sense.”
